Donations

Blessed Generation tries to generate as much income as possible in order to realize various projects (organize safari tours, soapstone arts, raise cattle.) For these projects your donation is of great importance! Your donation helps the children and the local population and is used to cover the administrative costs. You will always be informed and receive reports about the project your donation is used for.

Activities in Kenya

It is possible to work as a volunteer in the orphanages of Blessed Generation. In Ruiru as well as in Malindi you can work together with the people in the orphanage. You have to be at least 21 years of age and you can stay up to three months.

Ruiru:
Accommodation in the guesthouse of Blessed Generation (2€ per day, including meals). It is also possible to eat together with the children at lunchtime.

Malindi:
Accommodation in the guesthouse of Blessed Generation with view onto the sea (20€ per day, including breakfast). The guesthouse in Malindi is run by students of the Technical School in Malindi. It is possible to eat with the children at lunchtime.

For both Ruiru and Malindi all other expenses (transport fees, meals outside the orphanage) have to be paid by the volunteer.

There are several working activities for volunteers:

•  Organize creative and sportive activities for the children

•  Administrative work

•  Tuition, work as assistant teacher

•  Technical and operational help (building)

•  Operational help with water and electricity supply

•  Provide medical assistance

•  Other various tasks that need to be done
