Welcome to Blessed Generation Children's Center

Welcome to the orphanages of Blessed Generation. The first orphanage of Blessed Generation Children's Center is in Ruiru, which is situated 30 km north of Nairobi and exists since 1984. Since the year 2001 Blessed Generation is directed by Ria Fennema and her husband Fester Medendorp. In 2005 a new orphanage of Blessed Generation was opened in Malindi, a city on the coast of the Indian Ocean. In both orphanages there are living about 100 children. In 2008 a third orphanage was opened in Nyamira (situated in the west of Kenya) for the victims of the riots caused by the presidential elections at the beginning of 2008.
